The haute couture exhibition " Bohemian Citizens”, designed by Studio Adrien Gardère for Printemps Haussmann department store in Paris, explores the influence of nomadic culture on fashion.

From the most daily metropolitan routes, to the silk roads of the past through the paths of the stars, the exhibition appears as a network, a mosaic of territories. A multidimensional printed carpet — representing simultaneously a subway map, a world map and a cosmogony – guides the visitors’ steps. They are invited to follow a circular course around a yurt, symbol of nomad habitat but also center of influences. From the most recent tools of the "virtual nomadism" of modern women to the nomadic encampments of the steppes of outer Mongolia, the visitor discovers in turn the multiple facets of an omnipresent mobility.
