On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the Holocaust, Raymond Depardon presents for the first time a series of striking photographs, taken in black and white in 1979 at the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp.

To exhibit these photographs, the Studio Adrien Gardère conceived very large-format paper prints, resembling posters that cover entire walls of the exhibition rooms, fully immersing the audience in Raymond Depardon’s images.

The developed exhibition design reflects the documentary nature of the photographs and pays tribute to the photojournalistic work undertaken by Raymond Depardon.

This marks the second collaboration between the Studio and Raymond Depardon.
