The lndo-French Collection is the outcome of a furniture design workshop initiated and guided by Adrien Gardère in close collaboration with the Indo-French Alliance director, Olivier Debray and the Ahmedabad National Institut of Design. With six senior students of theNational Institut of Design, supervised by NID teachers and during two years long, 1999 and 2000, Adrien Gardère led a reflection for a furniture collection construction designed for the Mill Owners' building of  Ahmedabad built by Le Corbusier in 1954.

La collection franco-indienne est le résultat d'un atelier de design de mobilier conçu et mené par le designer français Adrien Gardère en étroite collaboration avec le directeur de l'Alliance française d'Ahmedabad en Inde, Olivier Debray et l'Institut national de design d'Ahmedabad.
Avec six étudiants en dernière année de cette école, sous la direction du corps enseignant et sur une durée de deux ans, 1999 et 2000, Adrien Gardère a mené une réflexion pour la conception d'une collection de mobilier destinée au Mill Owners building construit par Le Corbusier dans la ville d'Ahmedabad en 1954.
