Since 2004 the Studio Adrien Gardère is in charge of the design, the conception and the artistic direction of all the visual arts exhibitions of the international festivals of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC.
India Festival is the fourth international festival designed by Adrien Gardère. Celebrating the American-Indian friendship, the Kennedy Center has hosted the largest Indian festival ever organized in the United States of America."Maximum India" has been a celebration without comparison of art and indian culture, through many performances, the works of some of the main art contempory artists and an extraordinary exhibition of its crafts.
Le Studio Adrien Gardère assure depuis 2004 la direction artistique, la conception et le design de toutes les expositions et installations des festivals internationaux du Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts à Washington DC.
Le Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts est le plus grand centre d’arts vivants aux Etats-Unis. Au bord du Potomac, proche du Lincoln Memorial, il offre plus de 6000 m2 d’espace d’exposition consacré à la création culturelle actuelle.
Après les festivals de la Chine, du Japon et du Monde Arabe, le quatrième festival international a été consacré à l’Inde.
‘‘Maximum India’’ fut une célébration sans précédent de l’art et de la culture indienne, à travers de nombreuses représentations, des expositions d’artistes majeurs de l’art contemporain et une mise en scène extraordinaire de son artisanat passé et présent.DatesFebruary - March 2011
